The brief was to produce illustrations for Childline to help 13-18 year olds going through a tough time around key themes.

My answer to the brief was to take the most common topics that 13-18 year olds struggle with (such as self-harm, bullying, puberty, exams, anxiety, etc.) and their recommended solutions, and translate them into relatable, non-provocative illustrations. In each illustration I have taken one key issue or theme and designed strictly around it while maintaining a consistent tone and style. I have chosen to represent the target audience through one female and one male character, without any skintone in order to keep it representative of everyone at the same time.

This project has been awarded a YCN Commendation for the Childline Brief 2018/2019.
